This is the enchilada and tamale portion of the Acapulco combination plate. The cheese puff, beef taco, and "guacamole salad" comes first. Looks good but everything is a little on the salty side.

Their Boom Boom Sauce is so good I could drink it as my beverage! Best menu items: Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom Enchiladas, Elvis Fried Chicken, Chile Rellenos, Baja Tacos, and Fajitas!!!

This is an upscale "tex-mex" - the table side guacamole is a must. Spinach enchiladas & empanadas are amazing and probably my favorite salsa in H-town just the right amount of kick w/ great flavor.

The seafood enchilada is to die for. At $4 on the a la carte menu, you can't beat the amazing cream sauce that covers the shrimp and scallop stuffed enchilada. Two are more than enough to satisfy.
Got the el bonny and the la Paola combos. Between them I liked the carnitas and the shredded chicken enchiladas best. The beef and chicken fajitas are also good.
